Brisbane Palliative Care is a private palliative care service covering the greater Brisbane area that commenced in September 1998.
This is a community focused service, which is based on professional and organisational networks rather than institutions. Public and professional preference is overwhelmingly in favour of community based palliative care where possible.
Brisbane Palliative Care will add resources if required to the existing care provided by general practitioners, specialists, nurses and other health professionals, in community, hospital or aged care settings. |
